Quality of life in patients with cerebral palsy: literature review

Currently, much attention is paid to the study of quality life patients suffering from chronic pathology. The closely related patient’s awareness confidence and well-being in many areas, not only with perception their physical condition, but also other aspects including social interactions, emotional experiences, spiritual values areas. Cerebral palsy a severe disabling disease presence motor disorders, speech, cognitive, mental health problems that lead maladaptation. There are special tools for assessment, which include various questionnaires. Some them, example, Pediatric Quality Life Inventory (PedsQL) has module “Cerebral palsy”, following covered: daily activities, movement balance, pain, fatigue, eating. From age 5 years, block «speech communication», «school classes» added. Such questionnaires allow assessing disturbances by cerebral use these data dynamic observation during treatment. article presents most objective studies palsy.
